We've all seen mutable and even auto-muting instrument cables before, but the new RapcoHorizon V-Cable takes that concept one step further, and thereby solves a wider range of problems than just equipment-endangering signal pops. The V-Cable has a 250k Ohm (or 500k Ohm) passive volume pot fitted cleverly into the instrument-end right-angle jack, effectively adding a master volume to your acoustic or electric guitar or bass.

The V-Cable was designed with Taylor guitars as a no-mod solution for adding a master volume to their acoustics which don't already have one, but as you can see, any guitar lacking a single master volume — acoustic or electric — can benefit from the V-Cable.
