@adv.013

I'm shocked they're allowed here in America considering pop up headlights were banned for being "too sharp"

@FluorineGallium

cybertruck is an abomination to both automobiles and fridges

@cars4life458

the cybertruck should be illegal everywhere

@chickenchowmeinwithshrimps

Remember that the Americans made the pop-up headlights illegal because they would chop a pedestrian's legs off, this should also be illegal! If not, then bring back the pop-up headlights.

@JoriDiculous

No. It shouldn't be allowed anywhere on public roads.

@copperkeyracing6167

It doesn't just look like a fridge. It's also stainless steel like a fridge.

@adrianbennett3761

It will never pass pedestrian crash tests, so no! Very expensive once tax etc is added. Most builders will be better off with a Ford Ranger at less than half the price

@GuardianOne24

What makes it even scarier is the fact that those steel panels are not only sharp, but don’t LINE UP.
There are gaps between them, sometimes half an inch wide, effectively turning them into a 3 ton knife edge traveling at highway speeds that CANT STOP.

@lk-ip1xs

Honestly I heard that the Model X and Model Y are also terrible at breaking. In Germany many Model X and Model Y got sent back to Tesla by the owners with the complaint, that the breaks dont work properly and they request Tesla to fix it. The response from Tesla was "the breaks are perfectly fine", basically admitting, that the breaks that come from the factory are 💩

@abstego_84

I'm so happy that the fridge is not road legal in Germany, and I'm pretty sure that it won't happen in the near future

@chrishb7074

We (UK/EU) researched and wrote safety standards, learning from deaths and injuries over decades of road traffic accidents, so they don’t keep happening. This has been demonstrably successful.

We can’t have one manufacturer being allowed to ignore all of it because they know their ‘cool’ and ‘different’ design wouldn’t have a chance of coming up to those standards.

@voiceofreasoningelliott5849

Should be permanently banned from UK roads

@ChrisJones555.

The Tesla should come with a parachute as well as an anchor ⚓️

@ianwarren8316

FFS Never!
That thing is death on four wheels for vulnerable road users!

@snowyowlnugget

Stops like a fridge too... Lmao

@ShypaxGaming

In Denmark they will never be permitted, they are so big and heavy it requires a Heavy license (which almost no normal people have) the same used for semi trucks - also the weight + brake force will absolutely not let it be allowed here.

then theres the whole deathtrap if you hit anything question afterwards.

@PaulParkinson

It's not allowed on our roads. It's yet to pass the UK's (strict) homologation tests. Tesla haven't asked or tried to get the Cybertruck through the process because they know it will fail. Dismally.

@skela098

It is illegal anywhere in Europe, UK as well. It cannot be homologated because it has 0 protection for pedestrians.
And this also shows Tesla's cost cutting. Having 3 tonne missile of truck and putting shitty brakes in it...

@neilp3773

No, there's already enough Tesla milk floats here without the addition of the shiny Sh** Box too.

@elwittinio2865

Didnt Homer Simpson design a better car than this once.
